We are blessed by the lord , for he has gifted us with adequate food provisions , comfort of a home and plenty of clothes . But streets of Delhi are a home for numerous individuals of our age and also younger than us who DO NOT have all these provisions and live a life which might be innocuous to us. To explore the joys of sharing and to bring about a wave of happiness on the faces of little cute ones who have surrendered their lives to the streets of Delhi . CHETANA – Conscience of Women ( CCW) , launched a drive to distribute goodies and warm clothes to 100 deprived and needy children .
Providing an aura of joy , for kids who play with mud rather than a toy.
The target areas of the drive included signals, temples, metro stations, Connaught Place , and local areas of Central and East Delhi. A team of 15 volunteers travelled across the targeted destinations to make this initiative a success. The sole idea behind the drive was to protect the children on the streets from harsh weather conditions , by giving them warm clothes and illuminate their moods by gifting them goodies and interacting with them. The drive brought smiles on the faces of kids , gave them a reason to laugh and enjoy. Not to forget it made them feel that there is someone who cares for them too, so here is it for the last drive of year 2015.
